I’ve said it before, and I’m sure so have you: Kids always seem to have the most fun with the simplest items {usually the ones that cost little to nothing}.
Kingston found a new favourite toy, it just happens to be Harlow’s bath, most likely because Harlow has so much fun {FINALLY} in her bath, maybe the bath it self looks like fun?

He loves to grab a wash cloth, and give both his Big Bear and his Monster a bath. He helps me give Harlow a bath everynight, so now knows exactly what to do, I’m just waiting for the day when he tells me “No, mommy, King-kin do it”, and he trys to bath his baby sister.
He has also found other fun uses for the bathtub. He uses it as a chair, a ramp for his Hot Wheels or he puts his stuffed animals in it and pushes them around saying “Weeee! Fast Car!!”.
We are shopping for his fast approaching second Birthday, maybe I should skip all the toys and just buy him his very own….infant tub!

Since this week is back to school {well in Canada at least} Creative Director Clothing, that super cool t-shirt store I did a post about a couple weeks ago, well they are having a great BTS promotion.
Starting tomorrow {September 7th} and running until Friday {September 10th} when you purchase the funky Milk and Cookies t-shirt online, you will receive a FREE limited edition Robot T-shirt in the same size.

Like all Creative Director T-shirts this limited edition Robot tee is hand printed with water based ink on a 100% Cotton. Robots are fast becoming a huge trend in children’s clothing, accessories and toys this year, a free Robot tee is a fantastic way to get in on this trend.

I am obsessed with this beautiful blog; Petits*Bonheurs {Small Pleasures}.
The pictures are inspiring, innocent, beautiful, and completely heart warming. The blog is written in French, personally I don’t speak or read French {wish I did}, but it doesn’t matter the pictures are literally worth a thousand words.

Also the children are absolutely beautiful, and obviously beautifully dressed.

We have entered another one of The Paper Mama‘s photo challenge’s.

I think we have the perfect picture for this weeks theme….Excitement. What do you think?
This picture is from the first time Kingston went down a water slide, he was excited and scared, a great combo of emotions.

Kingston recently started noticing the camera, he now loves to smile and pose for pictures. Its pretty darn funny.
We aren’t quite sure where he learned the classic “CHEESE!!”, but it’s one of his favs. His most favourite poses are the same ones that crack mom and dad up like crazy; his “MUSCLES” {King doing a version of flexing} and “ROAR!” {Kingston pumps his fists and roars like a lion, or a monkey as he likes to say}.

Somedays he sees the camera instantly says “CHEESE”, we have to be a bit more sneaky when trying to take candid shots, or Dad does since Dad is the talented photographer in this house.
Also I’m sure I’m jinxing it, but I’m gonna say it anyways….I’m a little excited for Fall weather {we had a small taste of it over the weekend}. I LOVE summer and LOVE the heat, but I’m SO tired of summer clothes. I know I’m not the only one {it’s ok you can admit it too}. I can’t wait to dress the kids and hubby up in some fall duds, that being said, I better begin to purchase these said duds soon!

Last week….Well Kingston is almost, two so interested in a gazillon things. But each week, {more like each day} he decides to play with a different toy or is shocked by a different thing outside.

It only took 3 months, but Harlow finally likes bathtime.
No more white knuckles from her holding on to me for dear life, no more loud girly screams, no more uncontrollable cry’s. She loves the bath now, recently she realized that when she kicks; the water moves, so she kicks like a crazy little lady. She kicks and coos with a giant smile on her little face, it sorta looks like shes dancing.

The other day {Thursday I believe}, she LOVED the bath so much she took a giant dump in it {thank goodness for breast milk poops!}. It’s sure to be the first of many bathtime poops, if she’s anything like her brother.
